My documentary/impressions from Cuba, made in January 2006. There is part dedicated to Fidel Castro, these are some last shots, when he was still in good shape, he is walking in the manifestation.

  • Go live there for just a month ... then talk about Cuba. Shame on those who praise that regime!

  • I can imagine how is to live for 15 $ per month. I remember the same time in Poland.

  • Cuba is awsome, I only hope that in the future it will not become americanized if the embargo is taken off. I hope it doesn't become another Cancun-like spring break destination.

  • agree with you!

  • ever been to US backed colombia, US backed honduras/paraguay - thats poverty, agreed to and enforeced by US backed spineless governments.

Cuba's poverty is the result of its stand against the US. It's poverty is its punishment for its temerity to have a voice, a conscience and a will to do and act as it sovereignly feels fit.

  • the situation has many faces i see it know in the time of the world crisis and after i watched the zeitgeist movie that learned me a lot...

  • sorry, but the reason the state of cuba is in such a desperate conditon is due to the 40+ years of economic sanctions and blockades put upon it - which has been excacerbated since 1992 and the fall of the soviet block.

Those poor people you see there are the result of the US, and it foreign policy, as seen in iraq, vietnam and so on and so forth in the US's depressing midas touch of bullying imperialism.

  • Do you have a cousin or brother in buffalo named Dan?

  • The "regime" will open... but with no savage capitalism !

  • Cuba..If it is so wonderful why are the people prisoners??? Guaranteed base survival with no hope is not my idea paradise. And now the food stamps will not even buy meat? Beans and rice day in and day out! Viva la free markets where a man has opportunity. No one breaks loose and flees to Cuba. No they die weekly to attempt to reach the USA, the worlds "Promise Land!" Sat Cong!

  • @HubertPrzybylski iN pOLAND, UNDER SOCIALISM LIFE WAS BETTER THAN NOW AND IN CUBA THERE AREN'T POORS AND RICHES : ALL PEOPLE HAVE HEALTH CARES, FOODS AND HOUSES AND THERE AREN'T ILLITERACIES LIKE IN THE OTHER COUNTRY OF THIRD WORLD

  • @44skins Do you know people in EVERY other Latin American country go hungry? So why the fuck do you pick out Cuba? I will now proceed to look at El Salvador videos hoping to find the same comments. Oh, by the way, Cuba is the only country in Latin America without any malnutrition. Just ask UNICEF. But as they didn't come from Fox News you'll probably dismiss it as lies.
