Sir when you say the concepts must be so "obscenely original" for media, are you talking about being abstract stories? or something novel and creative.

@Spryt07 rewatch akira take note of what you can explain and what you dont understand. what i see the most is the "reality to subtext balance/depth" like seasoning food everybody has different taste,but a balance can be found that will satisfy most. some look for reality some look for subtext ranging between emotion to evaluation ect.

@ChazzSweet approaching a new medium from the smallest conceivable level of understanding. looooong before we stop current workflow to dedicate to new medium we can take minutes\hours\days nano projects. alongside dominant current to get a basic understanding and rudimentary execution. keeping several dedicated nano workflows allows you build multiple foundations at you leisure.this is a natural form of r&r from stringent quality control and refinement process of current "formal"
