I live in Michigan and lived in Dtroit for a period of time and i can honestly saw its nat all violence, and gangs, and shooting, and drugs. There are really good parts that are hidden by all the terrible things that happen in Detroit. Detroit used to be famous for its cars and really good music. I'm pretty sure we can fix it.

P.S. if you think we MIGHT need to change Detriot you are wrong. we DO need to change Detroit.

I would love to get a copy of this piece without BO at the end. It was perfect up until that point. Certainly they can replace him with something Eminimen has said about Detroit, or really any Detroiter or Michiganander - anybody but BO. That just ruined it for me.

I am from the burbs but am sad to always see what takes place in Detroit and michigan. I am graduating from CMU in December and think I am going to have to move away but I desperately want to stay in detroit. I would love to get a job downtown.I wish I knew what I could do to help make the situation better because it is more than just politics, it is the good people trying to grind along and improve there lives.
