I have a warranty on my car with Vurge. Definitely worth it, saved me over $1200 in just one repair.

I bought a AC adapter from best buy a few years ago. I bought the extended warranty. A few months ago, it pooped (I don't know the actual issue, but I was pissed when my 10 min battery died out on my laptop when I was doing a PowerPoint school thing). I then took it back to Best Buy. I then got an exchange of a new model of the product and it works perfectly fine. I get extended warranties for stuff that need them (HDD's & power adapters) from good stores (best buy & staples) my opinion however.

I bought a (42k km)used car last sept 2010($10k) plus extended warranty cost $2,400. after 6 months I sold my the car and bought a new one. I dont remember that extended warranty is being used. they replaced the transmission but it was covered by factory warranty... I was thinking again and again if it's worth to buy this (scam?) extended warranty again since the my new car is only 24k km on it?? pls advise me. thanks

BestBuy Black Tie 4 year warranty replaces 100% of anything. I messed with my Xbox and broke the tamper sticker and they still replaced it. It was like $90 for the $300 Xbox.

Truth:
If you buy a product with warranty, it will brake when the warranty is over
If you buy an broduct with extended warranty, the product will last longer but still breaks after the warranty is over.
