Please don't forget baptism..I know many read Mark 16:16 and say..well as long as I believe..that's enough for the Lord, but if your boss told you to clock out and sign your timesheet and you'll get your check in the mail. How many would clock out without signing their timesheet??

Probably no one..but why do so many Christians read this verse and believe that belief in the Lord is all that's essential to salvation? Why is baptism seen as a optional act of obedience or that Jesus didn't mean you had to actually go get baptized to be saved?? Jesus made it plain and clear before he ascended to Heaven the way to salvation. Please recognize baptism as an essential act according to Christ's own words..The Author of our salvation

The video was great until you started the religious rant. Keep those things between you and god.

Anyone KNOW when this show was recorded????

People were not very affectionate those days. Allot of handshakes, very little hugging, and one very awkward kiss between Richard and his Pastor's wife

This show is horrible! The host sucks! I love the Carpenters, but, really.....this was bad interviewing!
Let me reiterate my analogy. If your boss told you to "clock out and sign your timesheet and you'll get your check in the mail. If you don't clock out, you won't get your check"..then how many would not sign the timesheet and argue with the boss over the phone weeks later that they clocked out and should get their timesheets?? Jesus said "he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. He that believeth not shall be damned".

Yepprd: Who did Jesus say that too? The Nation of Israel. The Apostle to the Gentiles Paul said "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect." 1 Corinthians 1:17
