they probably are neurotoxins, which go into the bloodstream.. My cat insisted on licking the stuff so I stopped applying it to her. Neurotoxins were used as nerve gas in WWI, and the left over product found a new use as pesticides. Germs, fleas, and crop pests evolve quickly because they have short life spans. The strong survive, necessitating the use of even stronger chemicals. It's a losing battle, and humans and animals-- even the environment as a whole-- are the losers in the long run..
