This is my setup. Fi Q 12 getting 1600 watts rms in my 350z. Obviously couldnt fit 2 in the hatch because of its space requirements. Ran by a Hifonics Brutus BXI1600d at 1OHM. I recorded this to show excursion, not bass. So if you're wondering why it sounds bad, its because my camera was never meant to record bass at such low levels. Anyway, the entire car has been sound deadened with Dynamat Xtreme. From floor to ceiling. Battery has been replaced by a yellow top Optima dry cell. 4AWG wiring. Didn't go with 0AWG because its a small car. 4AWG is perfectly capable of delivering power to an amp asking for 1600 watts rms from a distance of no longer than 8 FT. The component speakers are being ran by a 4-channel Hifonics Zeus at 120 watts RMS x4. The enclosure was also made by me. After a few months, the sealed enclosure wasn't enough for me, so I went with an aero port box. System is MUCH louder now.

  • I have an RE sx12 and it needs at least a 2.5ft ported box. Is there any way I could fit that in there without doin fiberglass?

  • @dmart1501 my new setup is 2.3 cu ft at 32 hz and the ONLY way you could do that in a 350 is to pull out the spare and all the trunk panels AND the box needs to be aero ported. you gain close to a foot of depth over a length of about 5 ft......2.5 is definitely achievable but it would require precise cuts. i still had a lot of room on the sides after i dropped my box in. drop the spare and do some measurements, you should be able to do it fairly easily.

  • that ones sealed. and the spare was still in there. until I made a ported box. then I took it out.
