Mitt Romney is lying about President Obama again.

Mitt Romney: "And the President said something very revealing yesterday. He said that in a perfect world, the government could spend a lot more money. I disagree."

President Obama: "Now, if this were a perfect world, we'd have unlimited resources. No one would ever have to pay any taxes, and we could spend as much as we wanted. But we live in the real world. We don't have unlimited resources. We have a deficit that needs to be paid down. And we also have to pay for investments that will help our economy grow and keep our country safe: education, research and technology, a strong military, and retirement programs like Medicare and Social Security. That means we have to make choices. When it comes to paying down the deficit and investing in our future, should we ask middle-class Americans to pay even more at a time when their budgets are already stretched to the breaking point? Or should we ask some of the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share? That's the choice."

The real question is: Have the venture capitalist, global corporations. and their lobbyist taken advantage of American politics, Its' Constitution, and its' military might to nation build, and plunder at the expense of the people of the United States and the World for their own gains, while leaving the debt upon the citizens of the United States. What can be done about it? Before Obama the domestic economy had already failed, and if a Republican gets back in office the country will collaspe.

Would you really forgo voting for Obama because he didn't bring about all he said he would? He didn't fail us. He did as much as humanly possible given our circumstances. The Republican game playing made it impossible for anything productive to occur. He deserves another 4 yrs to continue digging us out of a mess that took Bush & his buddies 8 yrs to create. Please reconsider. Romney/Ryan will take us back 40 yrs on personal rights alone & the rich will get richer. Every vote does count. Thanks

I usually find political ads grating and disgusting -- some of the more fear-mongering Democratic ads make me feel that way -- but this Truth Team series makes me proud of who I support.

no! my sweetheart using words to imply a different view or opinion is mis leading and deceptive and in my book deception is a premeditated form of lieing , which indicates he wanted to and new he was mis-leading the people he was speaking to. now i wonder what else he has sat thinking of to mislead the public

I respectfully disagree with Mr. Obama I believe in the change he said he was going to bring and It did not come, I'm not saying Mitt Romney is the ideal candidate but I cannot vote for Obama because he has failed us. Also "pay their fair share" the upper class pays higher percentage on taxes then any one else. We are the most charitable nation on earth and I believe that we all can make a diference. This comment will probably wont be shared but who's every reading this thank for your time.

Shows what a LIAR Romney is! Why won't he release his tax returns? What is he hiding: foreign bank accounts? compensation from Bain? miniscule tax payments? If he has nothing to hide, he should release more tax returns! He can't buy, or flip-flop, or Etch-A-Sketch, or grin his way out of this mess.

It's fairly disappointing to see. I had honestly hoped in 2008 that he would have gotten the Republican nomination as he was the LEAST insane of the pack. But I am seeing historical whiplash here. The same thing happened in 2000 when John McCain was the "dark horse" candidate preaching straight-talk and reason. Reason he subsequently abandoned to gain the nomination in 2008. So Romney is pretty much doing what he thinks he needs to do in order to get Republicans fired up, as McCain did.
