  • Outstanding vlogs, plural, frankly. I'm at etpickett on Twitter if you would like to keep in touch and learn more, as I would. You are appreciated Suresh. I hope this is inspirational, perhaps even helpful: pbs.org/now/fixing-the-future/index.html Thank you and best wishes.

  • @monetizeyourdata David, thanks! - is Fixing the Future your project? If so, we should chat. I am working with others in the media space that are working on film and documentary projects.

  • The phenomonen they revealed was that when a person was aware that they are the only one in a position to help: they invariably did so. However when put in a situation where they know others can also help, the individual in need, only 60% actually tried to help. The idea is that when more people are involved in a situation there is a diffusion of responsibility such that they indivudally become less likely to respond.

Anyway, keep up the good work, Be Well :) Sammy xx

  • Hey Sammy, thanks for the kind words! If you are interested in taking a look at work that I am doing that is related to what I am talking about, please fire me an email address and I'll send you some links and other materials!

  • Suresh, I am etpickett on Twitter and my name is Emmett, not David. Fixing The Future I was not aware of as a project. I hope the connection with David works out for you. Kindly consider following me at etpickett on Twitter so we might learn more about each other's projects, direct message perhaps, etc. You're in Toronto, yes? My wife's sister lived there, and I hear it would be a nice place to visit someday. Have a great weekend! :-)

  • Hey philosophyguy, loving your ideas, thought I'd throw some into the mix. I refer to Darley and Latane (1968) "Bystander Intervention in Emergencies: Diffusion of Responsibility". Journal of Personality and Social Psychology. I'm going to have to post this in 2 separate comments so bear with me :) Sammy xx
