Name that tune!

Live remix done with Ableton Live 8 as sample host and master clock, Korg ER-1 used for sequencing and nanoKontrol used for mixing, EQ and effects.

This is the first part of a 16 min live set.

Enjoy,
DMJ

  • Space Oddity!!

Nice remix, man! BTW, have you been able to send info (apart from Clock) from Live into the ER-1?

  • @richicc I have been able to send clock and notes back and forth. The knobs do not use MIDI values so you cannot map anything to them in Live. I mainly use it as an external sequencer so that I can play and sequence the drum patterns live.

  • Yea. I used some of my daughters acrylic paint. Now I have so many controllers and keyboards, I hardly use it anymore. It does make it easier to see the keyboard in the dark though.

  • this would be much more pleasant without a kikdrum it makes it drag a little with that monotonous thud

  • sounds like a pinball machine in lounge version

  • did you paint the laptop keyboard by yourself, so it looks like some piano keys?

  • my fav part is when its a minute and 30 seconds in...it has that extra umph to it
