Showtime Movie Start/Universal logo

From "The Great Outdoors." This intro is a little more complete than the one from my "Mac and Me" video - if anyone has a complete version of this Showtime start, and can tell me how long it was used, I'd much appreciate it. I know this is from 1989 or 1990. Thanks!

Allison this intro began in 1988,and was replaced by A kinda dull intro in 1990.They have the 1990 intro on Tv Ark website.Loved"The Great Outdoors"saw it at The Drive In,along with"Casual Sex".

I've got MANY of these SHOWTIME openers...... I'm pretty sure they started to use it in late 1987 or early 1988

Oh ok - I figured 1988, which was when we got Showtime. We had HBO until about 1991, then got it back in 1993, ditching Showtime.

Actually, this intro came into effect in the fall of 1987. Not 1988, but close enough.
