Very creepy and strange Halo 3 glitch, FPS mixup.

Okay this was just creepy... I was playing the level Halo with my friend. And we encountered a SERIOUSLY messed up glitch.... It was near the part when you board your Warthog for the escape off the Ring.
The door from which we entered a room became a portal, showing the first person view of the other player... Meaning when I looked through the door, there was no room, but the screen of my friend's view was inside the door. And likewise for his screen only in place of MY screen in the door.
The door no longer allowed us to go back either, it was now counted as a wall. And when I attempted to shoot the 'fake' enemies through the door it was counted as a wall.

The quality of this video is somewhat poor... But it's all I could do.

If I can remember correctly Gunslinger is a Dark Tower book, right?

If so then no, I've never read any book from Dark Tower.

But as far as I'm concerned, this was a one time ordeal.... I think this occured just by chance, a strange glitch, not an easter egg.

But who knows, maybe you can find it, my best guess is it's not gonna happen again.

The Flood are SO easy in Halo 3 it's insane.... But they're still annoying, especially those little f'tards that shoot the spikes at you, YOWCH!

I'd never experienced a glitch like this before in any of the games in the trilogy, it truly was an odd experience. In case you can't tell, I was seeing the other players view through that door, and likewise for the other person.

Then there was that weird 80's music vid style thing going on!!! xD

i see that constantly during glitches. thats just from the map loading wrong. im guessing you did some back tracking, or got separated from the other player, or something. i think it looks even weirder in single player. but its nothing new.

Very strange. You never know where and when the game's script codes will trip up and cause some sort of strange graphical interference. I wish that there was some sort of diagnosis window, or an emulator so I could have a look at irregular source code processes and actions. Anyways, it is always possible for any system to have an imbalance in codes and processes , there are probably some glitches that humans have never witnessed before.

Really? Where the doors show other players POV? That's awesome.. I think I've played Jedi Knight Academy before, but it was for PS2.

Indeed. But it was very interesting, and didn't really harm gameplay at all. If anything it made it funner.
