This is so wrong. The release should NOT be a conscience effort. Hold the angle of the right wrist until physics forces it to be release.

I have to say I am very pleased I found your videos.The topics are well covered in that you show faults but also the correct way of having the swing happen.I was just wondering I just viewed a Darrel Klassen video were he claims you release by twisting the handle with the left wrist while turning the hips.Also Haney recently posted a similar method.What are you feelings about the hands role?I'm pretty sure I know what your thoughts are from watching your videos .Still I just wanted to confirm.T

@jsoward...LOL, I love it when people disagree with me and then make my point for me. You are not supposed to actively hold the angle. You "ALLOW" the release to happen naturally through centrifugal force. Actively holding the angle with your hands not only fights this, it isolates your hands from the rest of your body and will make your pivot stall if you actively hold it.

@secret. Thank you :-). I think you are over thinking it a bit. I like to look at it as allowing the release to happen. Watch my "Plane and release by feel" video.
