Chris Tarrant tells us Tiswas fans that several of the team are going to make a "late night version of Tiswas" in January 1982, while you can look forward to a new series of Tiswas in the autumn with Sally and "some new faces".

As stated, Chris, Lenny, John and Bob departed Tiswas after this was aired, and that late night show was OTT.

Gordon Astley, Den Hegarty and Fogwell Flax were the new faces joining Sally for the eighth series of Tiswas - which turned out to be its last.

  • lenny henry is about as funny as rushing to the toilet at 2 in the morning and stubbing your toe on the door.

best program ever but got silly when chris and co left.

  • Gawd blimey, that tune's a bit repetitive isn't it?

And the fact that Chris advertised the late-night version goes to show they knew damn well all the dads watched Tiswas for Sally James! :D

  • Dat Lenny Henry, him a rasclart.!

  • That was really nice !

  • @MrOldskooltillidie Well Dick and Dom in the bungalow was fairly recent and they threw about 50 buckets of custard around the studio EVERY WEEKEND. You have to feel sorry for the cleaners there.

  • I had the most mind blowing dream about Chris the other night. He was sitting in a hot tub with me, Sarah Palin and my nan.

Sarah was ordering pizza on the mobile while Chris was asking my nan to put some Chris De Burgh on the Hi-Fi

  • @pel1can what's ainsley harriett got to do with anything? lol

  • @supergav67 they would never get away with this now the cleaners would have a fit and walk out. it was the best kids tv ever produced well at least thrown togetheir.
