  • Very nicely done video. What proportion of Aloe / Fruit do you use? How often are you consuming a leaf that size? How long can I store it in the refrigerator? Thanks!

  • @KLip452 We eat aloe about once a week. the proportion depends on the oranges, some are sweet and some are not so sweet, but I would estimate that it is about 50/50. I am not sure on the storage because we don't store it, we have lots growing and have no need to store it. Thanks for the nice comment, we appreciate you.

  • What is the Latin name for the Japanese Aloe Vera? I can't seem to find it anywhere on the web. I would love to purchase one.

  • @NkaujPajDawj I do not know, perhaps John Kohler does. We are growing lots of Japanese Aloe and can have some for you around April.

  • How do I know if I have the right species of Aloe? I found my plant on the side of the rode some months back; I know there is a great multitude of aloe, So how do I know if mine is indeed the edible Aloe Vera which is safe for external use? Also I noticed mine is not spotted like the one in this video and my aloe is light green not dark.

  • I dont think im gonna put a whole leaf... gonna start with a little bit and see if I die (i might be allergic since im pretty much allergic to every plant). I want to use it against acne

  • @suriaflow thanks for the advice! I was scraping that jelly portion into my smoothies because I was under the impression that it had some powerful nutrients

  • @cyphead you have to be carefull with the yellow gelly that is near the green skin of the aloe. This gelly is a powerfull laxative and can be dangerous. Be sure you only eat the transparent part!

  • @rskurow Okay my bad I didn't watch the whole thing I only assumed because cyphead mentioned it.

  • @zekhariah The video clearly shows Minh rinsing off the Aloe Vera and the voice over explains that also. Thanks!
