I was on that 2 weeks ago. It was a 343, flying over borneo got turbulent, the hostess nearly fell over D: It only lasted 1 hour or so, other than that - apart from the AWFUL economy seats, the flight was fine.

A340-300 is more stable because it has four engines. A330 both times i flew with it was unstable and both on take off and landing. My experience with A340 was much better. You re right it was over borneo but it lasted at least two hours on my flight

later when it was dark the flight became really bumpy and we could see lightnings below us. very scary. to be honest i found the Airbus330 very unstable and crackling both on take off and landing. The previous flight with the B747-400 was perfect and totally smooth
