Senate candidate challenges David Vitter to three round MMA match

Mike Spears is running for Senate in Louisiana. On September 8th, 2010 he issued a challenge to incumbent David Vitter: To go toe to toe in a mixed martial arts dual of honor for the state of Louisiana.

"In the past, it was not uncommon for politicians to engage in duals for their honor." - Mike Spears

If David Vitter does not answer this challenge, Mike has agreed to honor his obligation to fight by fighting a trained professional MMA fighter in Senator Vitter's place.

I think this is a brilliant idea. For the first time in a long time someone is holding our Senator accountable for the law he broke, not even the Senate held him accountable. Its this mentality that needs to come out of Washington! I'd rather have this Spears guy in there. The primary job of a Senator is to write law, so why send a man who broke the law back into Washington who doesn't mind breaking the law!
