@dookdawg214 That question is only legitimate if you believe the BBC is a benchmark for true journalism. You only have to watch it to know that it isn't. I mean, for example I like Question Time but I am constantly frustrated by how important discussions get sacrificed for the sake of pointless arguments between those exact people who have these "special credentials." The news should be broadcasting the truth. I don't care about the BBC's protocol on their guests.
-
I know and I don't disagreer. But that's not the issue. What's being discussed here is how -- or why, if you like -- an everyday guy with no special credentials was brought onto live TV to discuss his views on economics. Whether what Rastani says is right or wrong is totally irrelevant. He could offer the most brilliant advice in the world, but the question is still legitimate.

@dookdawg214 Rastani spoke the truth unlike any other so-called financial "expert" the BBC usually have on. Economics is not a science or even something that requires a degree to be knowledgeable about. Plus, this is the same BBC who mistook a job applicant for an IT expert they regularly had on.

market is unpredictable...........no one is credible to say anything.........
-
This is surreal listening to these two. Are they actually discussing whether the BBC should have involved itself in censorship because the guy was saying something that was "uncomfortable" to people.
Its doubly surreal........... because what he said is actually true.
