David sings Paxton's Last Thing

I thought I'd reply to Kiro's version with mine. hey, this isn't as easy as it looks--maybe I'll come back and replace it with a better version when I'm not so tired. As for the lyric error in the third verse, that's the way I've sung it for years, and I kind of like it, though weeds has its virtues, too--it just doesn't make the obvious sense--which is how I misremembered the lyric in the first place. And for the choruses, I usually try to vary the wording more, and I always try to vary the melody and not repeat--but sometimes it works better than this time.... Apologies to Kiro for any little criticism I've made to him, I could say a lot more to me!

Thank-you. I try to sing it a little differently each time I sing it. As for the key, I just find myself singing it,and didn't have music or any idea in which key it was written or sung, so I just kept singing it (and have done it in other keys). The main thing I do is to try to sing each chorus a little differently, so it's not entirely just repeated each day.

You've got creative version, of "Last Thing.."; chord progression of D-G-D-A-D, its ok n easy..Ive heard Travers' version, probably the most exact refined melody, for pips learning n wanting to sing this beautiful piece. yrs ago i shared this song with my daughter, n she got the song right..
