Evening's Civil Twilight in Empires of Tin, "a reflection on the edges of Empire and the Doppler effects of history", is filmmaker Jem Cohen's special project for the Viennale International Film Festival. Vic Chesnutt, Silver Mt. Zion, Guy Picciotto of Fugazi, T. Griffin and Catherine McRae create a live soundtrack for Cohen's film, which explores parallels between the decline of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and modern-day U.S.A., accompanied by Bobby Sommer's live readings from Joseph Roth's "Radetsky-March" and "The Capuchin Crypt".

  • Thank you for posting this! However, I need to point out that Guy Picciotto was actually in Fugazi, not Rage Against The Machine.

  • thank you, i've corrected that :)
