Israel Attacks 2 Red Cross Ambulances during War on Lebanon

During Israel's war on Lebanon, Israel was accused by Human Rights Watch and numerous local and international media outlets of attacking two Lebanese Red Cross ambulances in Qana on July 23, 2006. Following these accusations, some websites claimed that the attack on the ambulances "never happened" and was a Hezbollah-orchestrated "hoax," a charge picked up by conservative commentators such as Oliver North. These claims attracted renewed attention when the Australian foreign minister stated that "it is beyond serious dispute that this episode has all the makings of a hoax."

From aerial shots of the attack, it appeared at the time that Israeli airforce pilots used the Red Cross sign as a target.

Yes they were driving the ambulance weren't they? Even the video that was used to justify the Qana' strike was absolute rubbish. But do something and search for pictures of Bint Jbail following the Summer war. Three-quarters of the town if not more were razed to the ground? Israel fired 4 MILLION cluster bomblets into Lebanon, please justify those!

You are most welcome. The Lebanese people have gone through so much from the civil war of the 70s and then the continued aggressions by Israel that added fuel to the fire during the civil war. The International community has special rules for Israel; the least we can do is stand united with the oppressed people of Lebanon and pray to God, All Merciful and Just, to alleviate them of their problems.
