Speaking from the banks of the majestic St. Croix River, Senator Coleman addresses the need for comprehensive energy reform in his newest ad, "Look Back," being released today. Senator Coleman recently introduced a "do-it-all" proposal in the Senate that allows environmentally-safe drilling in the Outer Continental Shelf, a strong and vastly expanded commitment to renewable energy programs, increasing nuclear energy programs and developing coal-to-liquid technology. In addition, Senator Coleman is also a cosponsor of Senator Carl Levin's (D-MI) Over-the-Counter Speculation Act, which would extend the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's oversight and surveillance capabilities in worldwide energy markets.
