Macbook Pro 15 unboxing - I5 - 2010 - Review

Hey guys this is my brand new macbook pro 15 inch computer unboxing video, with a mini review. ( un boxing ) I decided on the 15 inch over the 13 and 17 cause I thought it was a good balance for a notebook laptop of weight, and screen size. its not bad for gaming.
The macbook pro 15 that I unboxed is about 5-6 pounds, very portable.
With the macs you have an option between I5 and I7 processor's, I went for the middle model.

This macbook pro has a unibody design with a great graphics card a battery that lasts 5-9 hours, 4gb ram 500gb hard drive 7200 rpm instead of the 5400rpm better for video editing.

Not I personally do not have a preference over apple mac and PC, I use both, but let me know which you prefer in the comments below. (mac vs pc ) I think both laptop computers have different uses.

What made you switch to mac? Because I noticed a lot of professional producers use them, did you find it to be better?

@peterphilhower I find mac has really good editing software and sound software like garage band, I think it is better for people who make videos, music, or photos. I think PC Is great for business gaming, and anything else pretty much.

i would prefer a pc. but the macbook pro 15 is a great laptop. i think its a good balance between performance and size. i would only go for the base 15 inch. more than 1699 and i can get a much better laptop with better everything for anything over that price.

@TheXeno2000 thats very true, pcs are better for games for the most part, mainly because of compatibility, hopefully in not to long macs will be just as good for gaming :)

yeah so the kensington lock is the one that goes on the side to lock it to a desk or something.. the space for it is to the left of the super drive..

it is not the magnets keeping it closed

Do you use any like graphic demanding softwares like Autodesk Maya or such? Since Im planning on buying a MacBook Pro, the one you unboxed, and studying Game Development with focus on artistic structure. Really would appreciate if you replied :)

I would say Windows is good for gaming period. Mac is great for everything else.

I was wondering, do you HAVE to buy a Mac Airport Express or whatever you cal it and connect it to your DSL/Modem? Because I have an older one used it for my PC and can the Mac use that? I don't know if you can, please help...

wtf a 20 sec boot time? My friend says hers starts up in a second! Thats as slow as my PC!
