Christians suffer a constant erosion of that right. It'd be nice to be able to practice one of the prime directives of our faith which is to make disciples of all nations. Or to speak the truth in love without being told that we are impinging on someone else's right to believe we are wrong - even if we aren't.
people who talk about tolerance are almost never tolerant of a Christian doing what they know to be right.

After Tony Perkins has made it clear that he feels it's his job to enforce God's laws on other people, and "be offended when seeing them trampled," I wonder when he plans on confronting out troublesome first amendment and the included right to free practice of religion, a direct affront to the clearly worded first commandment.
You made it pretty clear Tony, it's not about American values, it's about God's law.
Take that constitution and start shredding.

Gods word and law is open to interpretation, herein lies a large issue. You have many churches on both sides of the equality debate and both sides should be heard and respected. Churches should not use their pulpits and money to rob citizens of legal rights. There are many Jews in office, however they are not forcing us to observe Shabot, each person must stand firm in their beliefs but not force them onto others. Mr. Perkins will question his thoughts after a close family member comes out.
