This is the second edition to my Idiots Guide for Installing Android on the Hp Touchpad. Originally, the video was specific to Cyanogenmod, but there are several other Android ROMs available, I wanted to recreate the guide to be globally inclusive of ALL versions that are available, or may become available in the future.

This guide can be used by new users, or by people who need to reinstall.

When CM9 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) comes out, you can use this guide for that as well.

everything works fine except when I get to the ms boot screen I don't get cynogen as a option. My options are webos, clockword reboot

can i do this using windows 8 pc?i tried to download the acmeinstaller 2 and i dont get the zip file.

Trying I really am. I have arrived at the boot screen that your video end with . Once I select the second option I have at a screen with following selection swm-based recovery v5.0.2.6 -reboot system now -apply update from sdcard -wipe data/factory rest -wipe cache partition -install zip from sd card backup and restore -mounts and storage -advanced -power off - go back How do I proceed . Is there an email I can send you images of exact files I downloaded.

what file do you need to open novacom installer because it keeps asking me which file i want to use to open this file and i cant open it?

Rev, so i followed everything you told me and it was going great except the last comand (novacom boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller) all its telling me is that it cant find the file. did i type it in wrong? i see the novacom in the folder it doesnt have the .exe next to it, could that be it? actually it is novacomd. sorry where did i mess up. THX

ahh. Nevermind. The file you download from his site is basically the base file (already unzipped)

same here. ACMEInstaller says its not a zip from the links from his website. Is there another way?
