  • what button you press too copy the cloud map man ????? pleasse

  • @2050miltons just click and drag the map, that simple :)

  • The cloud one i kind of figured by myself in the end. But as for the reflections, I'll give that a go tonight and let you know. Thanks so much. :)

  • @leemarvinuk09 np mate and ask more info if you need :)

  • Quick question.... Does anyone know how to get the clouds to cast shadows on the surface and is there a way of getting the oceans to reflect light. For example in a low-level close shot?

  • @leemarvinuk09 about the cloud casting shadow, you could try make another layer from cloud layer, put it under cloud layer, make it black and then blur it a bit, that's how it will cast shadow, and if you want reflect you need to get spec_map (black and white) from earth (google it), then put it in the spec lvl and then invert it so that it does not reflect ground but ocean. Hope this helped :)

  • Why is your earth texture darker, i cant find that on the site, did you color correct it?

  • add a bump map.

  • @xxUrbanwookiexx Have you had any luck? I've the same problem but I'm thinking it's because my cloud texture is half the resolution of my surface texture which is about 4000 pixels. I'm still looking for a similar size cloud map. Let me know how you get on. Thanks

  • @xxUrbanwookiexx hmm mayde its just that the texture is so bad that it makes those bad looking areas. But anyways I will make your life easier, I now will put link in video discription where I found my maps :D

I hope it will make your life easier :)
