Interesting to see Singapore mentioned here, as the German raider depicted in this film contributed to the fall of the British in Singapore by capturing a diplomatic pouch from Singapore to London.

Finest war movie ever made, never is given the respect or airplay it actually deserves. Laughton and Heflin are superb! How can such a classic be so neglected?
