Diane L Manning, The Author

Diane L Manning is the first African American woman to urbanize mystery/thriller. The scenes of her stories are based in Harlem, New York. Her stories come alive in an intensifying plot where Melinda Henderson pursues her dreams of becoming an investigative reporter. She finds herself webbed into the dark world of medical research and one crazed doctor who tries to create human clones from stem cell research.

Ms. Manning is a thought provoking expressive writer who engages in realistic issues that affect our lives, communities and relationships. Her goal is create a series utilizing Melinda Henderson, her main character. The stories Melinda finds herself investigating will lead to murder, corruption and extortion. Her second book, The Sweet Taste of Revenge will be available in bookstores in 2012.
