Vote for Marion!

Your help is desperately needed to help spread the Vegan message through what could be a Channel 4 cookery program in the UK. Marion of "Friend Animal Rescue" has the opportunity to have her own VEGAN cookery show. But there's competition so you need to vote for her!

If you click on this link: http://www.4docs.org.uk/competition/view/387/The+Garden+of+Eaton there is a short clip you can watch which is an snippet of what the show would be about.

If you like it, (which I don't doubt you will), then please
sign up to the site (it literally takes seconds!), hit the "recently
added" tab to find the vid "The Garden of Eaton" which is currently at
the bottom of the page and then click on the heart on the right hand
side to give your vote. If she gets the most votes then her program
will be the one that Channel 4 choose and it will be an amazing tool to
help boost to the Vegan AR movement and help a very worthy sanctuary
for abused and abandoned animals.

  • You are a star Marion. Keep up the good work, it's lovely to see you interacting with the beautiful animals in your sanctuary.

  • I love for being a vegan, god bless you. and I hope billions of ignorant humans become a vegan too. I am a vegan too and i hope all sentient beings attain liberation from this perpetual samsara. Thank you!!

  • "But if you study the work, opinions and research of many scholars, expect the truth to rise to the top."

    Precisely.

  • Most people right or wrong are honest. It's not a matter of liars trying to deceive you. Does Coca-cola tell us that sugar and caffeine are not addictive? Of course they do. Does Monsanto tell us that genetically modified foods are perfectly safe to eat? Of course they do. Might there may be a researcher who slants his numbers to fit his vegan or raw food hypothesis? Yes there might. But if you study the work, opinions and research of many scholars, expect the truth to rise to the top.

  • I'm concerned about people being honest when they make claims, as said I am a raw vegan but I am sick of those people who just grab whatever information they can to push a belief, theory, or just something they will agree on.

I want people to be honest about what they know, this problem is affecting many people in many groups, no honesty basically. It is how when an issue is debated, it can can easily be found to have flaws.

  • Soy products are cooked at over 118 degrees so why are you concerned with soy if you are a raw vegan?

  • I was hoping for a more specific answer to how you came to your conclusion, but I guess you don't know for sure either. I looked up the search and just find the usual results, opinions, fakers, etc. I'm personally a raw vegan anyway.

  • What site? The one I gave you:

Cut and past this into your search:

Fermented Soy Foods :: Food and Nutrition :: Whole Foods :: soybeans

If you want more websites search:

    fermented soy

    unfermented soy

    genetically modified soy

I can't tell you fact from fiction. Some doctors argue for cooked and others argue for raw. The Internet and library are full of information. Read, watch videos and decide for yourself who and what to believe.

  • From what site(s) though? There are many sites, including raw vegan related ones that use awful articles that have no honesty and just a belief on what you must eat. Like belief verses belief mixed with supplement propagandists, animal consumer endorsers, other fakers calling themselves doctors, professors, etc.

  • One of many articles on the subject:

Fermented Soy Foods :: Food and Nutrition :: Whole Foods :: soybeans
