What Trev did in the 80's: The Monroes - Move in Closer

This was from an hour long live TV Broadcast from the Camden Palace in London. The band was the Monroes who were signed to EMI Norway. I played guitar on this gig but played bass on the tours. The two main men, Lage and Eivind were Norwegian hence the EMI Norway record label company.

Move In Closer is one of the best songs I ever heard! It rocks! That song is one of the reasons why The Monroes is my favourite band.

So you were playing with them the whole 1980's? I thought that it was just at that one concert for Sky Channel that you met eachother. Which country are you from?

Hi I first played with the Monroes when we toured Norway - I think in 1984 and then again in 1986 - I loved Norway it was a great time . I'm from England and met the Monroes through E.M.I our record label at the time. I actually played bass on the tours and went on to guitar just for the Sky stuff.

Move in Closer was my favourite track on tour.
