So many opinion are formed depending on peoples individual perspectives, expectations and desires. When we abandon those things and open our hearts to the Holy Spirit we allow God to reveal His truth to us. The Bible then becomes easier to understand. For instance, you can't get 3 days out of Friday PM to Sunday AM so his opening statement is already flawed. Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, buried late evening. 3 days later He resurrected late Saturday PM and was gone by early Sunday AM.

Mark claims to give light to "unclear" Scripture through "clear" Scripture. Jesus said "just as Jonah was 3 days & 3 nights in the belly of the fish so will the Son of Man be." So Mark needs to clarify that "part of a day is considered a whole day." That's true in Jewish understanding but your statement contradicts Jesus & Scripture. Also, Jesus atoning work for sin WAS finished on the cross. HOWEVER, Jesus work was not. Easiest example, it's called the resurrection. Knowledge puffs up Mark.
