@TSR1989RN Definitely. If the League of Nations had been more effective with upholding the sanctions on Germany, things likely would've gone differently. The League of Nations pitiful display in curbing Japanese interests in China and Italian interests in Abyssinia gave Hitler the confidence he needed to carry out his gearing up to war.

Though, it's doubtful that the British and French military was in a fit state to carry out any military action against Germany without incurring severe losses.

Ironic though that by not nipping the problem in the bud at the first sign of trouble (taking Military Action in support of Czechoslovakia for instance) that we unintentionally insured that many more people would die when war came with Nazi-Germany, as a swift decisive strike by Britain & France in 1938 would have at the very least forced Hitler into a humiliating climb-down, which given co-current plans within the Wehrmacht leadership would have cost him his life.

@lolmast3r1 The Nazi's wanted to invade Poland, bc to get to Russia for "Lebensraum" you had to go through Poland and Germany was for it, bc many Germans wanted Danzig and East Poland because that was originally part of Germany. So yeah it was Germany's fault. Many Germans didn't want war, but when you elect a man who proposes a Greater German Reich and boosting the military, you're at fault.
