Chuck Hall strums some funky Texas blues on an American Standard Stratocaster® set to the neck/middle pickup combination. At 0:10 he stomps on the channel selector to engage the Super-Sonic amp's BURN channel. Note how his GAIN 1/GAIN 2 settings lend a fat "clean overdrive" quality to the single coil pickups.
@DevinBellROCKS the 22 is based on the deluxe reverb

You can also boost via the effects loop. If you simply connect the input/output with a lead you can dial the effects volume as your boost level. With the bassman channel it becomes thunderous, and you haven't even hit the burn yet! This amp does it all and really well!!!

@mikiedreb it switches to a different amp voicing man. channel 1 is either based on a blackface style or bassman style amp depending where you have the button set. channel 2 is kind of a rockier hi-gain type sound
Hope that helps!
