I only use a helmet if im riding seriously.. if im just riding point A to point B, or just riding on the road or off some 2 foot ledges and shit when chilling, I just wear a hat.  My full face is fucking hot and a big hassle.

@stephen394 yea its a hassle but what would you consider a cracked skull? i use a full-face for downhill and a normal mtb helmet for all other riding... better safe than sorry IMO.

buy a skate style helmet. theyre like 30 bucks, and in the case u slip ur pedal and land in a dumb way or on a curb, itll still save ur life at 2 mph.
