@JamesCarlos88 Quoting the Bible at an atheist is like quoting the Quran at a Christian.

For since the creation of the world GOD's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. ROMANS 1:20

Why does God require his presence to be known?
If he's an all knowing being, wouldn't he have known that his entire religion would cause more death, suffering, bigotry, and SIN in the world, why would he have had people introduce it.
More over, the very thought that he damns his own creation to ETERNAL pain and suffering because of his own failure is BAFFLING.
Why PURPOUSLY create an imperfect creature, and punish it because it fails a test you set forth to fulfill your own ego?

im not an atheist... im a pagan... does that mean i get to go to heavan? ;P

I think that's generally the thing with apologetics anyway. It's done from the mindset that the magic claims are true. If you DON'T believe that to begin with, the dishonest spindoctors of religion (apologists) just look profoundly silly.
Now sure, there ARE more then three options with the 'trilemma' (so it's a false.. trichotomy, as well.) But even that aside it only looks impressive to BELIEVERS.

I think the liar, lunatic, lord thing is actually HILARIOUS. Because the only way you can take that serious is if you already DO believe jesus is god.
Because look at it from the perspective of assuming jesus is NOT god. Then he AUTOMATICALLY would have to either A) be a liar (And he wouldn't be the first religious liar if so.) or B) a lunatic (Who believes all these magic claims that just aren't true.)

@Hommel125 so does that mean that Jeffrey Dahmer can get into heaven because he apologized for his sins after becoming a born-again christian?

@Hommel125 With Omni-Potence comes Omni-Responsibilty. Plain and simple.
The all powerful creator of the universe is apparently incompetent to convince a thinking person of his existence, so in a fit of indignant rage responds to his own failure by torturing the unconvinced forever. The god of Abraham sounds like a self pitying little bitch to me.

It's nice to hear a theist caller that can construct sentences well and actually have a dialogue, even though I think his beliefs are shenanigans.
