@leapinturtle kings of pop?.....you mean rock!

this is the only rythm and riff I ever heard he play, I guess this is his style,
but it's kinda boring, seems like it's the same song over and over again

@mckyle8 That is music to my ears Young Man. This is my generation of music and i see it dying everyday i see these new american idol contestants and the Gaga's of the world that bring nothing to the table except they can cover other work. No i know Gaga doesnt but something about that bitch that i cant stand. I dont know maybe because she is just a lame rerun of the Material girl. Keep listening and discovering this great music. Because these guys are already dead or close to it.

Bo Diddley is the baddest Cat to ever be!
Period!!!

This is a very little known gem by Bo, but definitely my favorite. There is a rave version of this song by a 60s R&B outfit called the Shamrocks who hailed from the isle of Wight. Getting back to Bo, he was a true creative genius. He studied violin as a child but switched to guitar. He not only created his own unique guitar sounds, but also build his own guitars in any shape like rectangular. Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Bo Diddley were the true kings of pop not that Michael Jackson fellow.

Bo,He's a Man, NO BOY! In 1955 I first heard Boy.Saw him live many times and he always nailed it.At a festival in FL. James Brown was playing and Bo walked on (No guitar) Did "I'm a Man" and walked off after James and he hugged. He always was BADD!

the plaid jacket is from album #1, "Bo Diddley". 'Nursery Rhyme" is from album #3,"HAve Guitar Will Travel".

I may be a part of this "new millenium" generation but i dont follow any of it!
even though i wasn't a part of those "GOLDEN YEARS"....I still allow it to live on through me musically!

It was a beutiful time when you didnt have to be beautiful to be respected. Bo Diddely was Bo Diddely, and he damn sure wasnt hollywood (thank GOD). He was a bad ass and didnt need American Idol to do his thing. Now days a wonderful artist could be right under our nose, but if he had those glasses, no one would give him the time of day. American culture in some respects has been circle-ing the drain last 30yrs. TV and Corps have been choking us for a long time. Wake up's commin soon though
