A Japanese shaped charge suicide weapon. The soldier would run up to a tank and contact the mine on the tank hull and detonate it.

  • Well, remember that it needed to be perfectly aligned with the normal of the surface.

If they just chucked it it might have failed.

  • Hiryu go was another suicide bomb. it fit into the belly of a Betty bomber. 6000 kilograms - reportedly made of Curpic oxide thermite (possible to get a high order detonation) - only 2 known to have been made, one was sent on a suicide attack and was never seen again. Allegedly destroyed by USN Combat air patrol however nothing is proven. Just goes to show you that although the B29 raids had a psychological effect, Japan was still prepared for battle, despite decades of media propaganda contrary

  • Germans attached same idea to a mini-rocket...

    Japanese attached a human...

  • To save on the suicide bit why not just put it on a longer stick and a few magnets at the end

  • @cLaX1227 You just say "into SHIPS" dumb arse.

Don't speculate & being cheated by our GOV's You never worked for GOV, I DID.

  • @maxinpains Are you kidding me? If the japanese flew planes into ships with them still inside, they would certainly do this

  • I doubt this is TRUE.

  • @BigAndTall666 The Japanese actually made an anti tank rocket laucher and a recoiless rifle near the end of the war but they were never used in combat because they were produced to late and were planned to be used in defence of Japan during the invasion.

  • The germans had a better idea, they ran up to the tank and simply stuck the charge on the side, pulled the lanyard, and ran like hell.

  • Simply the manual version of the older german panzerfaust, no rocket powered japanese included...

  • @jaglavaksoldier could you please send me a link or upload the whole video? i really need it for a school project and i cant find it anywhere ...i cant even find it anywher to buy-.- soo please help me:)
