This 15-second spot is for Acclaim's Double Player wireless controllers. Basically two kids play around with the wireless controllers, shooting lasers at the game screens of Airwolf and Double Dragon II. They wrap up by shooting two figures with the lasers. "For this mission, you need the Acclaim Double Player dual wireless controllers for your Nintendo Entertainment System. With slow motion, twin turbo rapid fire. Head to head, or team play. Get Acclaim's Double Player system. The power to move, times two."

  • I have the sensor for this thing, but no controllers. Anyone have the controllers for sale?

  • @Fektthis poor spelling, oh well.

  • lol, those early slow motion controllers were a scam. they just looped the pause button being hit to create a very unusable outcome.

  • I remember this. You had to hold your arms out exactly straight all the time or it didn't work. You weren't able to move at all.

  • @whyeff21 The power glove is worse.

  • These controllers were the worst ever. Totally unplayable. You'd have better connectivity with 2 tin cans and a string from here to China.

  • I still have this!

  • lol early wireless were terrible lol.

  • Wow, and this very ad was shown as shown as a whole in part of the consolation prize plug on several FDD episodes including an early-produced episode back when they still had the triangular scoreboards, and maybe Think Fast may have very well used this ad as well. Boy this is the ad from the Greg Lee-era of Nickelodeon we'll never forget about. Now, speaking of TF, am I talking about the one who co-starred with the man who went on to star on In Living Color and sorta looks like Jaime?

  • ACCLAIM this is the clusterfuck for you kids
