Population growth is not sustainable and what goes up MUST come down. Trying to keep it going up and up will only make the downside worse. Economies get better due to gains in efficiency and increased production PER CAPITA, not population increase. If you increase population but not increase production per capita you've only increased GDP, not GDP per person. You want 10,000 people making 10,000 GDP/$1 per person or 1,000 people making 10,000 GDP,/$1,000 per person?
