i highly respect goju-ryu its one of the most powerful styles of karate i have ever seen its conservation of tradition is impecible however i am more of a kyokushin karate man. but i love to watch goju-ryu in action its just as practical as kyokushin
I remembered i first learned about Higoana sensei while watching History Channel's human weapon. Higoana sensei was feaured during the episode about Karate. I think he was almost 70 years old when they interviewed him , he still teaches Karate & continued live in an active lifestyle and strong human being.
I trained in Tae kwon do for several years and recieved my red belt (second highest, before black belt) But I ended up quitting to focus more on my Baseball career that was starting to take off...
I definately feel I made the wrong choice these days lol!
