question... where did you get the cam for the car? and will it fit on the 1997 3.8L? i cant find a cam for my mustang anywhere... im also lookin for rockers rollers and lifter rollers.... if you can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciatled.

@oopie25704 I got my cam from Delk, but I'd recommend you look at Super Six Motorsports for a cam and roller rockers. They will have anything you need for your 3.8.

@mongoose007 I kind of put the thing together peicemeal. The head flow sheet is posted somewhere, I'm sure, and the cam specs are posted at the beginning of the video if you want to figure out what SSM kit it's closest to. The car made 220whp after a dynotune at VMP in FL.

@svbummin 11.96? There are ~20 V6 Mustangs faster than that. By your logic, that means Mach 1's are "gay". Also, a 2011 GT can do that with a few bolt-ons, so by your logic, you're "polishing a turd." Something tells me you wouldn't agree with those conclusions, which means your "logic" is flawed, at best, and probably much closer to utterly ignorant. We get it, you don't like V6 Mustangs. Go spend your time staying ahead of bolt-on '11 GT's and stop trying to prop up your fragile ego.

Bad ass car. A lot of work put into it. I love it. Ever consider using my mufflers on there, sound like a beast. Also found a set of "Coffin" mufflers that would be great for your car. Sounds fantastic as it is, love it!!

@5959512 Because insurance is all about not wrecking your own car. I live in an area with so many incompetent drivers who can't even merge with a 556 hp mercedez slamming on the brakes. Gas is a big difference my little 3.8 will get 24 with my foot in it. I drove my sisters bulitt two little down shifts and I watched the mileage go down. Mommy and daddy don't buy everything for everyone. Also some people live in cali and pay a shitload more in gas and everything I just priced gears installs...
