  • @friend60 Of course we can definitely hear Trent, but as we all know "NIN is trent Reznor". On the other hand HTDA is Trent Reznor,Mariqueen Maadig and Atticus Ross.

Saying that this is NIN is unfair. "NIN is Trent" does not mean that Trent is NIN. Trent has decided to stop NIN. We have to accept it and to see what he will give us now.

  • Reminds me of the direction Trent was going in on Ghosts I-IV.

  • 10 people dont have hearing

  • i have not heard such a deep, emotional, & soulful song in a loooooooooooooooong time....

  • sounds like electric version of The Offspring - Amazed lyrics

  • And if anyone of you say that Reznor has lost his touch, he never had one touch. He was what's called experimental industrial rock. That means nothing sounds exactly the same as another song, he experiments with different sounds and ways of working and that dans sometimes you have to release things that people won't like or maybe even you won't like.

  • Okay just because the lyrics are about misery and pain, that does not mean that she's copying reznors lyrics you idiots -_- that would mean thousands of artists out these days are copying Reznor. Which is false. Just listen to it, or don't. You guys are ruining the music for me.

  • @Relik1989 Well it's important to remember if you look at the population as a whole most people don't examine the variety of expression that's available to them people cling to a norm that's generally accepted and that's what makes it to main stream. There will always be amazing talent out there you just have to look past the main stream and search. There is still great music and talent out there it's just mostly not in the spot light.

  • I wish all musicians were still artists like them. Why cant people understand that we are fans of an artist because we like their art. The artist shouldn't bend or change based on what we want out of their art. Way to go Trent, et al, keep up the amazing work. I've been a fan since the mid 90's and I doubt that's going to change anytime soon.

  • @Psychonaut75 I'm with you guys. This is an evolution of Trent as an artist, as much as it is a partnership and a band. I'm personally happy to see him continue to change and create art that's personal to him and not just a re hash of what made him money.

  • @simboubou

And, to me, Trent IS NIN. Listening to what he creates, it's like you can almost understand his soul, every feeling he transmits perfectly.. and listening to HTDA, I can totally feel Trent's and Mariqueen's souls entwined. Sounds corny but, whatever.

  • @friend60

I agree completely. People who deny this are deaf and blind.
