Sweet! At how many volts are you running it? I`ve made one myself from the inside thing of an Kinder Surprise chocolate egg, but it stands on some wires and shakes a lot :)

why do you have to push it to start it spinning?

@snakev10v5 Hi . Their are a few reasons why it won't stat on it's own . It has only one field magnet and the shape isn't good it should be curved around the armature and their only two poles on the armature three I think mite be better. All of the angles of the magnetic fields must be correct with no gaps or it well sit in the gaps and need a push to start it once it is going the kinetic energy makes it past the dead spots. That's about the best that can explain it hope I'm close :)
