My great uncle Hans Felber was forced into Hitler Youth, then the Wehrmacht in the East as a radio man in the trenches. He was captured by Red Army forces, and beaten severely on his march to a gulag. After the war, he and a few others escaped the gulag in Siberia and traveled on foot, barn by barn, in soviet territory, all the way back to Germany. He suffered severe frostbite, and was crippled from the beating he took. Especially one in his left eye. He was a survivor, and I am so proud

my great grandfather was in the war and he said it was pretty fun at times! He was forced into the war and he was in the german army! He doesnt agree with white power though! Thank God! lol

"lili Marlene" is one of my favorite songs from Germany WW2, which most are even Military like most Soviet songs, but regular Folk/Love songs about sweethearts, loneliness, missing home etc.
