Backpacking?  Who can carry a tent that size, I guess if you don't carry water, or food, or clothing, or any other gear, then you could backpack these enormous tents.

@johnmonk66 The entire Omega range whehter it's the 250 or 450 is extremely lightweight and compact thanks to it's strong but light alloy poles so it does in fact make them ideal for hiking or backpacking.

@johnmonk66 5kg spread amongst 3 backpackers for the omega 350 is about 1.65kg each!!!! Even solo backpacking I allow about 4kg for my tent, they are really good quality and very lightweight whilst allowing plenty of room. You can't beat these tents - better than anything else on the market.
