Let's Play Ultimate DOOM - Episode 1 - "What's More Fun Than This?" (E1M1 & E1M2)

Welcome to the first episode of my new Let's Play of Ultimate DOOM, Xbox LIVE Arcade version. DOOM is one of my favorite games ever, FPS or otherwise, and I'm definitely excited about doing an LP for it. So, here it is. Ultimate DOOM was originally released in 1995 as an update of the original DOOM (1993) for Windows 95, with countless ports released over the years, including versions for the Playstation and the original Xbox (as part of the Collector's Edition of DOOM 3).

We start the party by beginning the game with the first chapter, Knee Deep in the Dead, and I play through the first two levels; the Hangar and Nuclear Plant. The Zombies and Imps we encounter in these two levels are no match for my trusty shotgun, but soon they'll be the least of my problems.

This will be the only episode that features two levels; every video from here on out will feature one level per episode, with some exceptions. With 34 missions ahead of me, it's gonna be a long haul. But, this game is so much fun that it'll be over before I know it. I hope this will be an interesting and fun LP, and I hope for a good response. So, feel free to join me in my journey through Hell and back; just don't forget to pack your shotgun!

Dude, I can't believe this video doesn't get more hits! I really enjoy your commentary on this game and the footage. Just received a copy of Doom 3 Collector's Edition and plan on revisiting this classic on my 360. Also, thanks for not cursing which is rare in game commentary nowadays. Keep going!
