I'm looking to buy an effects unit and external audio interface. I've got one atm but it doesn't have enough ins and outs. Am looking at buying the m-audio fast track pro and a pioneer efx 500. Will I be able to route the audio with this interface? Cheers

It seems pretty complicated to me, is this because your trying to record stuff going through your kaoss pad? What if you dont need to record, can you leave out the wet track? How would that work? run an output through a effects processor and back into the interface, and out again? i am interested brcause i would like to apply my kp3 effects into separate channels i have in live... do you think it is a better option than to use send/rturns on a small mixing board?
thanks in advance

Hi Mathias. Sorry for the late response. You definitely don't need to record the return signal & if you are using an external mix board you have another option in a live situation. If you just put the KP on the mixer, if you're not splitting the Live audio on it you're only going to effect everything. If you want to be more specific, u could route to the KP as I've detailed, but then route the out of the KP into your mixer & not go back to Live. Much less latency that way too! Hope that helps!
