Located nearly 20 miles north of the Somali city of Kismayo, Jamaame Hospital was opened in 2007. At this site, MSF provides nutrition, maternity, general medical, and emergency care. Javier Roldan, a 35 year-old nurse worked as Jamaame field coordinator for seven months this year.
Through Roldan's photos and interviews with Somali health workers, he puts a human face on the situation in Somalia.
