Never has a more bizarre, improbable Fike High varsity football homecoming unfolded. Unbelievable! Bewildering! Down 24-0 and without starting senior quarterback Michael Brown (foot injury), Fike stormed for 39 unanswered points and pulled away to a 46-30 3-A NEW 6 Conference victory against Nash Central on a rainy, breezy homecoming Friday night. The astonishing turnaround enabled the Golden Demons to snap a two-game slide and climb to 6-2 in all games and 1-1 in the NEW 6. Nash Central also departed 1-1 in the conference and 5-4 against all foes.
