Pamplona Spain 2007 Bull Run San Fermin - Crowd Control

Pamplona Bull Run 2007 at the San Fermin Festival in Spain.
The main street of the bull run was lined with too many people
on the first morning of the event and the police moved in to
clear everybody into the side streets,however when everybody realised
that if they were moved they would not see the run itself,
all efforts to be part of history on that day would disappear.

when most of the crowd were cleared, the last
remaining patriots on the street that wanted to remain in the most
prominent position put up some resistance so the police resorted to
batons and charged the crowd. Some pandemonium ensued,people got crushed
in the push and those who fell got stood on from the retreating crowd.

When the gates were being closed on the crowd to lock them out
{There were large Wooden gates at each street intersection to keep the
bulls within the desired track} so the festival could begin,
missiles were thrown at the police, so the riot police were called in
and tear gas was used to disperse the crowd.

The scenes here also show a lot of people who missed the run and came to
terms with the state of the city in the back streets.

Of course it suffers during the bullfight...but it has nothing to do with this video

Anyway I support it shouldn't stop....I know the bull suffers....but fire weapons are not forbidden in the US and they are not good as well

uh...they save them until the festival is over when they do the bull fights with a matador and kill them....they dont just run.

after the bull run they use the bulls after the festival for the bull fights with the matadors and kill them. it's a very painful and slow death for sport....
